Then I let the starter ferment overnight with the flour mixture on top of it. I added more yeast to the flour mixture--3/4 of a teaspoon instead of 1/2 teaspoon.
I also have a note in the margins--"Add salt!" because I have forgotten to add the salt on at least one occasion--very disappointing.Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13183158217378477758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21995818.post-9443543469297273612009-07-02T19:15:40.500-05:002009-07-02T19:15:40.500-05:00Hi Marie,

I know there's a way to calculate it all out, but I would love it if you shared your measurements since you've gone through the trouble already. :)

Rodnicksterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12356330955411647753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21995818.post-62127426786999287372007-12-01T10:40:00.000-06:002007-12-01T10:40:00.000-06:00Doughadear,Yes--when a daughter says, "Mom, this i...Doughadear,
Yes--when a daughter says, "Mom, this is really good!" that means you've passed the critical daughter test--one of the hardest tests around.Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13183158217378477758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21995818.post-47789530108236407522007-12-01T09:05:00.000-06:002007-12-01T09:05:00.000-06:00MariePrior to the BB I had baked numerous breads,a...Marie
Prior to the BB I had baked numerous breads, and most were very good but I was looking for the prefect everyday bread.
