Thanks for sending your review of Granville Island--I love the photos and commentary, and glad to hear that it's one of your favorite places too. I could really see myself living in Vancouver, although it didn't rain when I was there. If we'd had three days of drizzle, I might feel differently.Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13183158217378477758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21995818.post-79915721609256378612007-06-04T19:38:00.000-05:002007-06-04T19:38:00.000-05:00I love Vancouver. We were there during prime azalea and rhododendron season, and the flowers were awesome. The bright colors that you're so impressed with until you realize that they must be the result of a lot of rain.

Melinda,
I know what you mean about the photos interfering with the eating! I think that's why we forgot to take pictures at Tojo's.

Doughadear,
I wondered the same thing myself. I was considering taking a swipe at one of the pyramids to see if it would fall over, but it didn't seem like a very neighborly thing to do, so I resisted.Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13183158217378477758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21995818.post-64405749847783090212007-06-03T19:39:00.000-05:002007-06-03T19:39:00.000-05:00What a beautiful presentation of fruit. I have trouble taking pictures of the food and remembering exactly what was in it. The menu gets whisked away so quickly.
It is also very attention getting when you take pictures of the food. My hat goes off to all the food bloggers who do such a amazing job recording the spread! I also am very anxious (and greedy) to eat the food asap!
I am keen to see what your travels have inspired you to bake.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21995818.post-46296787373696808212007-06-03T17:06:00.000-05:002007-06-03T17:06:00.000-05:00oh wow those fruit pyramids are awesome!i've alway...oh wow those fruit pyramids are awesome!

i've always imagined vancouver bc to be a wonderful, urban, and fun place, just like you made it out to be. i really should take a drive north one of these days.

can't wait to see what your trip inspires you to bake!evil cake ladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09028488030328153196noreply@blogger.com
